Fall 2019 (University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa)
This course introduced students to the major disciplines of philosophy (ethics, epistemology, metaphysics, aesthetics) and to a range of key philosophical issues (such as truth, goodness, beauty, freedom, religious belief, the self, etc.). Besides acquainting students with a variety of philosophical readings from different time periods and traditions, this course will also approach these issues by looking at some short works of fiction.
